MaryG  > Sports > Kettle Moraine 2008
On June 7-8 the Li'l Mister and I hosted the Tamarack Aid Station at the Kettle Moraine 100 in La Grange, WI (about an hour southwest of Milwaukee). We saw the 100K and 100 mile runners at miles 5 and 57, and then the 100-milers again at miles 67 and 95. The weather this year? OH MY!!!! Tropical heat and humidity for the day followed by torrential rains, thunder, lightening and wind throughout the night and into the next day. In fact, our photo collection is a bit sparse this year because the camera kept getting wet and shutting down.
