The annual Chicago Lakefront 50K -- one of my favorite spring events -- was on April 5. Unfortunately, that was only a week before the Mad City 100K. My little legs weren't up to doing both, so I just went to Chicago to enjoy a slumber party at Nikki and Jennifer's and then run one of the three loops of the 50K the next morning. Of course, the year that I don't sign up to do the whole race the weather is WONDERFUL!!!! For once, Pat, Chicago DIDN'T blow! :)
